We here at the West Fund believe that building power starts here in our community. That's why we are hiring 3 interns for Summer or Fall 2017!
We are currently looking for interns in the following areas:
Helpline & Patient Coordinator: Responsible for the day-to-day operations with our helpline and coordinating helpline volunteers.
Policy: Responsible for working to change policy and create a policy agenda at a local level.
Community Outreach: Responsible for building local relationships with the community, patients, and businesses that support reproductive justice.
The Summer 2017 Internship Program will serve as a unique opportunity to gain experience at a new and growing local nonprofit. The position requires the ability to perform and manage a number of diverse activities. Good judgment, independent thinking, a high degree of resourcefulness, and professionalism are critical to the successful management of an intern’s responsibilities. Please note, candidates must be available a minimum of 16 hours per week. Applicants must be a resident of El Paso or surrounding area to meet regularly with board members.

Salary: This is a part-time (16 hours per week) paid stipend internship.
